Stage 1

Initial screening, introduction to all areas that are required for becoming an astronaut. Learning skills that are helpful but not necessarily space related yet. The main goal is to acquire all necessary basic skills and knowledge and assess the potential. Assessment and successful completion required to move to the next stage. 24 months.

Stage 2

All the skills move to the advanced level of all the areas with a more space related inclination. Experimental pilots, completing STEM degrees, more practice. Training on space related facilities. Assessment required. 24 months.

Flying

To become an astronaut you need to be an experienced pilot, test and experimental pilot. Most space agencies require future astronauts to have at least 1000 hours in a jet plane. We’ll work towards that.

Diving

Diving is the closest form of simulation of a space walk that currently exists on Earth. Space agencies require at least 1000 diving hours. We’ll work on that too.

Driving

Driving is one of the requirements to be mobile during the training process so if you do not have a driving licence yet, we will get this covered.

Worst case scenario

You might not go through a selection process during the training at the Astro School or might not be enrolled by space agencies around the world. Unfortunately, all you would be is a pilot, diver, driver and scientist. Just that. Perhaps, for an adventurous life on Earth?

[/featured_box] [/col] [col span=”4″ span__sm=”12″ color=”light”] [featured_box img=”252″ img_width=”140″ pos=”center”]

Good scenario

You graduated from school and enrolled on a astronaut training in one of space agencies around the world. You might not actually fly to space but work on a space related missions.

[/featured_box] [/col] [col span=”4″ span__sm=”12″ color=”light”] [featured_box img=”256″ img_width=”140″ pos=”center”]

Best case scenario

You fly to space on a mission or on a personal trip.
